With the 5th pick in the 5th Round the Denver Nuggets select Monta Ellis

Interesting team Chilly's building there.

Polite way of saying "What the heck is this rookie GM doing?"

It's a good squad.

I really like the front court pairing.  Very skilled and versatile offensively.

I'm less excited about the perimeter, though.  Good talent, but not really fan favorites.  May be a tough sell around these parts.

Haha, not at all. Monta's personally one of my favorite guards and Gay's underrated, just don't know about that pairing if you don't have a catch & shoot PG.

Isn't that kind of DWill's game at this point?

22.5% of his attempts last year were catch and shoot threes, which he made at a 39.7% rate.

Just missing a good combo forward so you can get Horford some more time at the 5 (not hard since Bogut is such a short minute guy nowadays).

Fair enough - I was looking at the raw 34% stat. Didn't realize how much pull-ups dragged down his percentage.

Parsons is actually pretty good as a small ball 4 if Horford needs minutes at the 5.

Not on the boards. Especially since Charlotte is pretty small with their guard rotation already.

I like the size.  Should contend for playoffs in a vacuum.   Lacks that playoff go to guy.

I think unless one of the SF plays some SG, too much raw talent at SF and not enough talent that you can trust to be healthy at the G spot.
