Orlando selects Patrick Beverley with 4.11

I was wondering how long it would be before someone picked him. So few PG's left, and while he isn't much of a facilitator, he certainly can shoot the three and give you solid defense.

His star may not be as bright right now, but he's one of a few that's left that can take over games when needed.

I can confidently say 4.21 is a garbage pick. I don't even trust most of the guys picked since Steven Adams but I'm biting my tongue, because it's probably just sour grapes.

He's still a 16ppg player, and he's now playing in a system in which there's no Jimmy Butler who will dominate the ball, a style similar to his.

He'll have a better fitting team around him in CB Draft Utah.

Milwaukee selects Zach LaVine, who will be playing shooting guard next to Chris Paul and shooting the hell out of the ball from three-point range when he's not dunking.

It was a close call between Mirotic and LaVine for my 4.4 pick.

LaVine looks really good. Can score in so many different ways. So tough to handle. I think Thibs will help him sort out of his dodgy defense too. Exciting player.

Seems so far from a win-now guy though. Reminds me of a young Gerald Green with his tunnel vision offensively and defensive cluelessness.
