I am happy to finally finish my starting lineup -- I was getting nervous, a lot of the SGs on my list came off the board in the last round or so.

Boston Celtics

C: Marc Gasol
F: Pau Gasol, Rasheed Wallace
F: Kevin Durant, Danny Granger
G: Allan Houston
G: Steve Nash

I know folks wanted to see more of a defensive minded SG to improve the perimeter D but I was always targeting a shooter first and foremost.

I was sticking with this Spanish National Team model and my favourite iteration of that team was when they had three 40% three point shooters on the perimeter. They had ultra-efficient decision making PG, a combo guard who gave extra handles and shot creation and a skinny SG playing at SF who could also shoot.

I thought having those three guys to space the floor for the two Gasols was one of the keys to their offense. I was also thinking a bit about the mid-80s Lakers with Magic, Worthy and Kareem. How they had Byron Scott as a release valve to their offense with his outside shooting instead of starting their 3+D guy Michael Cooper. Using that extra shooting threat of Scott to create more space for their 3 main offensive threats to do their business.

Anyway, that is why I went with a shooter / shot maker over a more defensive SG.

I love what Allan Houston can bring to the table. He had one of the smoothest shots in the league and I believe he'd even more dangerous nowadays with the increased onus on 3 point shooting.

Fantastic offensive team, Who.  I do think it’s pretty vulnerable defensively at the moment.  I like the vision of having a concept in mind and following through on it.

Love the offence of this team. The passing of the Nash and Marc Gasol is both fantastic for their position, and neither Pau nor KD were slouches. Then you have 3 elite 3 point shooters, a big in Marc Gasol who can shoot, and Pau who had a deadly mid-range game.

Granger is a great Durant-lite off the bench, and Sheed brings some meanness.

I think a defensive specialist guard off the bench could help shore up some weakness, but I love the way this team would play offence. Clearly defined hierarchy, great skill at every spot. Ah, would be great fun to watch

I like your guards, just not staring together.   I would rather see you bring in another G to start with one of them as the main offensive threat off the bench.

I actually think there are some 3 and D SGs who have the ability to create left in this draft. Really not a fan of the Houston pick - he could shoot like a madman and score in bunches, but his defence is just so undesirable next to Nash.

My current team:

Ball Handlers:  Billups, Cassell
Swing:  Lebron, Ray Allen, Gerald Wallace
Bigs: Gobert, Millsap

Still looking for:  Swing defender.   Small ball C.   Extra Shaq wall.  (of course if they can hit the three, definitely a plus)

The LeBron trade made this team. Trade of the game thus far, really propelled the Sixers into title contention

I was a bit iffy about the Gerald Wallace selection, but you've got LBJ next to 3 other legit championship-experience players, which is a great move. Strong strong team

I love this team. Just by looking at them, and not really looking that closely at anyone else, I'd have to say they're the most athletic group in the league. Yao isn't too athletic, but he's 7'6, so...

Super fun. AI and TMac is a matchup problem for everyone

Andre Miller and Shawn Marion.  The two guys the Celtics could have chosen from, if they didn’t trade the 8th pick for Vitali Potapenko.

This is a team you buy League Pass to follow.
