Baby might've slid as Crawford was in the air.  Might've.  He definitely was set when he got there though.

Delonte is looking rusty out there...we need to keep moving and creating on offense, and not get complacent on D.

Well, I missed the barrage. C's are down 4 since I've been watching -- perhaps I should turn off.

Shaq with the left handed finger roll, KG abusing Smith on the block, and Ray with the rainbow J to pull back ahead big. Great job guys. Keep the pedal to the metal.

Someone please fill me in as I missed the first quarter -- what's the difference tonight?  Hawks cold?  Boston playing some D?  C's playing with sustained energy?

Atlanta's fans and broadcasters must not have the same definition of "ball movement" : Joe Johnson dribbles during 22 seconds and then passes the ball to a teammate because he basically has no other solution, his teammate pass it back to him and he launches a prayer from 3 point land that goes in, and then Dominique Wilkins says "nice ball movement from the Hawks" ;D

Nice to see the starters keeping up the lead and not melting down so far, the focus is still here.

The second unit is BRUTAL defensively. Glad doc got Semih out of there. Wow, that unit is so bad defensively it's scary.

sorry for posting so soon again, but i'd just like to quote this and say that it would be great if Jermaine O'Neal got healthy again. It's not the backup of the starter that's bad. It's that backup's backup. Semih has solid moments and he can pass from the post, but i think we'd all prefer JO

I can't wait for Jermaine to come back too. It's obvious that the second unit is lacking a defensive presence. Jermaine can provide that.

They came out on fire offensively and it fed their defense. Most of the bounces have made shots go in, or the rebounds have been tipped to C's players.

Combine that with the Hawks poor defense, they aren't fighting hard through screens, fouling, or contesting.

Great defense from the C's.  Love that they are working it in the post to make-up for the absence of Rondos playmaking.

Gotta be frustrating for the Hawks.  They've scored 24 points in 10 minutes but they've only chopped 2 points off a 26-point deficit.

They just have no chance defensively.  Thus far, everybody wearing a green uniform has been able to get whatever they want, whenever they want it.

ok, i'm changing my prediction again and i'm back on the bandwagon. 156-52 will happen! lol

but seriously though, these starters are making it look so easy. o_O Hawks have missed a couple of makeable shots but even if they had hit that, this is just...slaughter.

btw, props to the rebounding effort.

C's are slowing down.
