Yes.  Lakers are bringing the energy, we're not.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

thats the third bucket so far off a celtic drive to the hoop, a hack thats not called, and the lakers getting out in transition.

can't say we haven't been aggressive so far, but the refs are sure trying to imply we should shoot over the top.

Horrible start. The refs gotta call those fouls when we drive to the hoop.

Pretty obvious that the fouls will only be called on Boston tonight.

Time to clothesline someone.

we're getting burned by the refs, but also by our lazy defense.

And now KG has 2

The officiating has been spotty, but how about we play some defense?  How about we get the ball to KG and Pierce in good position?

Let's quit making excuses for terrible play.

The refs are definitely letting LA get away with a lot of fouls.  I thought they would call this game fair with the feds looking on.  Guess not.      Celtics very sloppy so far and offense is just as bad as game 3 so far.   KG with 2 fouls already and he has been getting mugged and no calls.  If this keeps up it will be a long night

How about Odom and Pau have turned their games around and so far Paul and Kevin haven't.

I agree, Put Davis in and have him earn some of those fouls they're calling...

Yes.  Lakers are bringing the energy, we're not.

To an extent - - but officiating routinely dictates the energy / allows a team to get on a roll and get the other team sulking.

It seems like we are still in "make up" mode for game 2.

There have been few games through the playoffs where the officiating didnt dictate the flow of the game - -including some where the celtics benefited.  Either way, its uneven every game.
