MVP Poll How To: If you remember the drill, great.  If not, just wing it.  .

OK, I started back up with these polls so I have to do the them through thick and thin.

The easy thing to do after last nights game is to look at the silver lining - they played like crap, and still had a shot to win. But, it's a tough one to swallow anyhow.   The series was there for the taking and two of the Celts stars couldn't put the ball in the ocean.

I was pretty happy at half time, down only 6 with virtual goose eggs from Pierce and KG.  The Celts were hanging around, playing enough D to stay in it.  But once they took the lead in the second half they repeatedly failed to add a "comfort zone".  They kept making stops, but couldn't pad their lead.  Sasha, the greasy snake, slithered his way into a groove and buried the C's with a 3 point barrage.

Admirable effort by Ray Allen, who kept the offense afloat.  That's about the best I can come up with.  Game 4's a new day and another shot at pulling within a game of the title.  You hate to see the Lakers get some life though.

My votes for Game 3:  Ray Allen 3 (would give him 6 if I could),Posey 2, Perkins 1

3 for Ray
3 for Posey

I thought about giving one of Posey's to Perk but decided to stick with Posey. He played with great energy and hustle and had a good game.

Just as a side comment ... free agency ... how big of an upgrade would Posey be if he was on the Lakers? That would be excellent for them. I can see LA making a run at him in the summer. Exactly the type of player they need. Tough, hard nosed, quality defender, experience, moves well on cuts, very good perimeter shooter, lots of hustle and rebounds. Everything he is doing is exactly what Radmanovic and Walton are failing to do for LA.

Ray 3
K.G 1
Perk 1
Pose 1

Ray was spectacular on both ends and played his heart out!

K.G. is an enigma on offence, yet was instrumental for his defence.

Perk is a beast and demands the ball more , deserving of recognition.

Pose again is simply a great 6th man award winning hustle player.
