Bitterly disappointed that our perfect preseason record was ruined. Refs screwed up the game and 9-47 from beyond the arc is nuts.

Other than that, I like what I saw from Brown and Williams and was did not from Yabu and Semi.

The biggest issue to keep an eye on is whether this was an off night for GH or is he going to take time to return to form (or both), because he looked pretty tentative to me.

Given it's his first game in a year after a pretty horrific injury I think it will take a while before he's back to his best. Plus he's trying to fit into the team again.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Did anyone hear Kyrie's post game presser where he was asked how he felt to play at the Dean Dome. He said (I paraphrase as Kyrie tends to be long winded) "it's a privilege, the greatest basketball player in history played here". Guess he and LeBron really don't get along  ;D

Hope Williams gets in rotation. He’s quick, long, makes good decisions, very good passer.

He'd look even better playing with better players. Maybe some that can throw that lob.
Do we have anyone that can throw lobs?

No Lobs Please.

I was wincing every time Hayward did anything for a while but it's great to see the team made whole again. Gonna be a fun year.

me too - even when they show practice, I watch Hayward. Is that leg & ankle supposed to be as strong as before the injury ?
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:

Is it just me, or is Brad emphasizing the three a lot more this year? I know we're only 14 minutes in, but we've already shot soooo many threes.

We've already shot 20 lol Can't tell if that is purposeful or just because it's our first game. Wouldn't surprise me to see Brad emphasize that with our roster.

We are not the Warriors - As much as Stevens and Ainge are in love with small-ball, 3-point shoting, finesse basketball, I do not want to see us try to be Golden State 2.0. How about let's be the Boston Celtics 1.0, shoot the 3, but be a more physical team than Golden State, Houston, Toronto, etc. That is what could be our advantage to get past these teams.
Besides which, I sure miss the old low post days.

Yeah sure, with a stacked and versatile lineup let's slow it down more by dumping it on the post. Given our depth we should be playing at a faster pace, get more possessions.

Even I am not this critical - of course Hayward was tentative. What did you want him to do, run down the right wing and raise his hand for a lob to the basket. He needs plenty of time to get used to playing again.

I didn't say slow it down, I said don't shoot 9-42 from the 3-point line. drive it or throw it inside.

Funny how people are overreacting to our first preseason game lol, the regular season hasn't even started yet. I do want the team to work on boxing out though, we let Miles Bridges perform multiple putback dunks and no one ever thought of stopping him.

Ahh, that must be why DA and CBS have given up on him and traded him, right? Oh wait!
