He has a player option next year and will more than likely be a free agent. Hoops hype said he may be paid up to $10 million. Could Boston sign him and start him at the 4? Move brown to the 2 and Tatum to the 3. Portis has size, can rebound and can shoot well.
Smart/Brown/Tatum/Portis/Horford

I don't know if we are still under the character guys/only good guys manta.   He definitely can play but has caused problems.

That's a fair point. I wonder if he has changed at all. If him and smart could get along could be trouble for other teams???

He was really solid for Milwaukee this season. 11/7 off the bench with 47% shooting from deep is really solid bench play. Not sure if we'll be able to afford him, he's only 26.

I wonder why he didn't play at all in the last 3 games of the series.

He couldn't really get his game going on offence in that series. Was solid in G1 and G3 but not good in G2 and G4.

Bucks also really shortened their rotation. Was basically a 7 man rotation (Giannis, Middleton, Holiday, Lopez, Tucker, Connaughton & Forbes) with Thanasis checking in a couple of times.

Defensive limitations which are easily exploitable in a playoff series.

I mean, Nets are small themselves, but we're talking about a rotation where no one bigger than 6'6 came off the bench and Brook didn't play the whole game... except in the blowout, and not even then did he get any run.

So I figure something else may have gone on potentially. Seemed like a series he could've done well in regardless, but didn't perform... though he didn't have success in the regular season either. Maybe Blake/Durant weren't a good match up for him?
