I'd be petty surprised. Wade doesn't need the money and he's not totally washed yet.

What's the history of a hall of famer of Wade's caliber going overseas for his twilight years? Obviously guys like Marbury did it but he was never on Wade's level and he was out of the league at 31, not 37. It seems like it would be pretty unusual. Unless Wade wants to really expand his brand.

Byron Scott and Dominique Wilkins went to europe panathinaikos Dominique won the euroleague.

Xavier McDaniel also played in Greece and euroleague for a season not very successfully

i disagree. He has a shoe deal in China. 3 years of marketing to billions of Chinese people could equate to a lucrative brand expansion for him selling his brand to china

While it appears highly unlikely that Wade will accept the offer, don't be surprised if he is a Golden Bull next season -- Liu Weiwei is building a special organization in Yiwu.

Depends on how much he wants the money. He has made a lot, but athletes also often spend a lot, he may have less on hand than you think. After taxes, lawyers, and agents they only take home about half of what they get paid. That's still a lot, but if a guy is a free spender it can go fast. Some guys run out of money and if he can't get a deal that rich in the USA he might decide it's worth it to pad his retirement.
