Does anybody know if the Celticsblog Live Chat has been fixed/will be available?

Checked it today and seems to still have the same issue.

I don't know if it's universal, has anybody been able to get in?  I know shutting off your firewall completely doesn't even work, so I assumed the problem was on CB's end.

Mgent, I have had the same problems.  I am led to understand  that it is a problem with Java security, and that my Norton won't allow it right now.   When this started, I was prompted to  update Java, which I did, but it didn't help.  I read on the java site that they are putting 143 patches on their program.  Hopefully this will take care of it, and soon.  Since I am not really tech savvy, I hope this explanation isn't too far off,  .  tb

Yeah, Java is what's getting stopped but I don't know why.  Miss you Thirsty!

It's because the chat uses an older version of Java, which is no longer supported. As a result, it's disabled with the new Java update, due to security concerns.
