The only person that Magic didn't throw shade at is LeBron, it's pretty surprising that Magic - well known as a political player - went after so many people

Because he knows LeBron is superior to him. He needs to kneel down to his king.

Magic is a fool

is this the reason why he wanted to step down from his position? so he can tell the world the "juicy"

-Pelinka is a backstabber, also talks badly about 2-3 other Lakers execs
-Lakers should sign Leonard or Irving
-Jeannie even after all this "nasty", if you plan to sell ....  call me

Conspiracy theory: Magic is taking the fall for the Lakers' incompetence by being a mouthy quitter so that they can create the illusion of 'new organization structure' even though the same idiots are still in charge.

Magic was always "a fake" to me, and this is no different.

Very risky strategy with FA beginning soon. They'll have a tough time getting a max level guy now

Yeah, remember when people were talking about Kyrie joining Lebron in LAL? Well, I can't imagine that is on the table now. Kyrie has had his share of drama, but it has almost always been in an 'open mouth, insert foot' sort of way. Joining Lebron was already dramatic enough; does deciding to leave a rock solid front office/coaching situation here in Boston for whatever is going on in LAL sound like a great idea?

i believe he used all these back stabbing excuses ,  mainly as an alibi,  and an excuse to exit the Lakers before he ultimately got exposed for poor leadership and his sorry decision making caught up with him.

I think there is 50/50 chance Lebron is traded.

Gonna be hard to join Lebron , if he an't home .  He is unpredictable, like Kyrie .    I doubt Kyrie feels like Lebron is destined to remain another 3 years in LA.

he still wants the Lakers for the main reason he went there , to get the LA Hollywood money ....any other city he d would have already checked out of that hotel had they not bowed to his every whimper.

It is a tit for tat power struggle between Lebron and Buss ,  pushing each other to see who might give in first .....she hopes Lebron will quit and ask to be traded ( he loses face and money) ,   Lebron hopes she will trade him and make her a villain in the media and fans eyes.  I think its a dare you between the two.

I think Lebron wants out as much as J Buss wants him gone , either wants to be the villian in any way.

The trade LBJ stuff came from LA rumor mill with no sourcing, I wouldn't read anything into it.

Yeah, I would be shocked if they traded one of the most marketable players in the league. It would probably be the right thing to do, though.

Anyway, this is all good news as far as I'm concerned.

He is also still one of the best players in the league as well.  He isn't going anywhere.

I predict Lebron has one more year at playing at this level. That is, a level where he can be in the MVP conversation.
