Have to admit, after what I've said over the last few weeks, I'm actually feeling more optimistic that things could work out as sports return. No positive tests in the NBA yesterday, and it seems the numbers in the NHL/MLB are also doing well. MLS is continuing and to date, only one game has been postponed due to COVID.
Now it's a 100% guarantee that the sports resume and play some games. MLB begins tomorrow, and NHL/NBA resumes next week. We'll see if they are able to finish their leagues, but I'm feeling more confident about it than I was before. Only slight concern I have with the MLB is that, they'll be travelling a lot still and that includes going to some of the hard-hit states. Might be an issue, but for the most part social distancing in baseball isn't as hard as say, hockey and basketball.
I still stand by with my belief though that there will be zero football this fall/winter (NFL, NCAAF)
