Wait, was Malone thrown out or did he not even get T’ed up there? No way that’s not at least a single technical. He was basically kissing Marc Davis!

he was thrown out??  I didn't see any ref T him up the whole time?

Apparently not. I was just so confused that they didn't call anything there given how extreme that got. They will literally face to face yelling at each other! There's no way that's not at least a technical foul.

This is what's frustrating about the league officiating. Whether it's coaches or players, the refs clearly have different standards for what is and is not a foul, technical foul, etc. Ridiculous lack of consistency.

He absolutely should have been T'd up...they would have tossed and suspended JT / JB for that kind of outburst.

A Gordon is killing it.

Did not expect to say this but his teammates gotta step up and help A Gordon with the scoring. Jokic 4pts. Murray 0pts. MPJ 0pts. A Gordon the only one who is bringing it.

It does seem like since the All Star Game when they made the change in officiating, they've really struggled even more with consistency. Some of these "marginal contact" assessments are straight up fouls - like the Brunson one they overturned in the Knicks game.

While I do like the spirit of the change and do think they were way too favorable to the offense before, it may have been best to wait on this change until a new season. Hard to make such a drastic shift in the middle of the year.

Wolves are super physical......that's an issue for us if we face them.
Still don't believe in Joe.

This is just not a good matchup for Denver. Between Minny's staunch defense (including both perimeter D and especially interior D AND having the bigs to make things tougher on Jokic) and Denver's offensive gameplan that doesn't take many threes and gets a ton of offense close to the basket where Minny's defense is strongest, it's just a really difficult matchup for them, even as good as Denver and Jokic are.

I think a perimeter-oriented offense like ours would definitely fare better against their D, especially playing five out with KP back. They also would really struggle to guard our smaller lineup, likely sticking Towns on Jrue.

These bad starts are going to start catching up with them.  I mean it already has...gotta come out with more urgency in the 1st quarter.

Definitely. The officiating rule changes definitely benefit them.

Luckily, our defense is pretty physical and benefits from these changes, too.

Joking better do something. Fast…

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Man, Denver looks absolutely shook and puzzled about what to do with this defense.

Denver are showing no resolve. A complete 180 from last season.
