He deserves it more than Tatum thus far this season.

Based on their individual play and our team record, I see Kemba and Jaylen as our two all-stars this year.

Had Hayward never been hurt I think he and Kemba would be our two All-Stars, but I think Brown has earned a spot. Been killing it

He's definitely got my vote, I still think that his true "goodness" is better than what he's showing so far on the Celtics.

As far as Brown's level of play, no doubt he's playing at an All-Star level.

But the All-Star game is more of a popularity contest.

Even the coaches tend to vote for the more popular players.

No doubt Jaylen will make the All-Star team someday, but this season, I think it's going to be Kemba and Tatum.

He has a chance.  I feel like 19/7 on its own is not quite enough.  But successful teams have a way of getting fringe cases into the game.  So if we hang near the top of the eastern conference over the next couple of months, it could happen.

Jaylen making the All-Star team is questionable this season.

But Jaylen is looking like the most improved player this season.

You guys agree?

He could be in the mix for the award. I think that Doncic deserves it though, he made the leap from a sub All-Star into an MVP candidate (assuming he keeps up these brain-breaking offensive numbers).

But here's the thing, Doncic was already very good last season.

The leap from sub All-Star to MVP candidate is smaller compared to Jaylen being just a 13 ppg player last season to being a sub All-Star this season.

Not really imo, there's a huge difference between a sub All-Star and an MVP candidate, while there's not that much of a difference between a good role player and a sub All-Star (considerable difference yes, but not a difference of seismic proportions). It's like going up 3 rungs compared to 1 or 2, and 1 season of a higher peak is exponentially more valuable than 1 season of a lower peak (it's not a linear curve).

There are only 12 spots.  It is unlikely we get 3 all-stars especially 2 first timers unless there are a couple injuries.

I think the difference is Doncic just got even better this season.

Jaylen is a totally different player this season.
It's like Jaylen's a new player this season.
So Jaylen has improved in more aspects of the game than Doncic.

I agree.

The most realistic is 2 All-Stars from the Celts.

Jaylen has learned to pick his spots. He has really become very efficient.
