How I spent my summer vacation

in part inspired by sshores wireless trip, I thought I'd reflect on my summer vacation, the first that I haven't actually worked during since I was a freshman in high school (so about 12 years)

Started off with a Sox game
Took a very hard class that paid me and gave me credits (not a bad combo)
Played in 2 bball leagues
Went white water rafting
Went kayaking
Went to approximately 34 weddings (or 5, but still)
Learned how to play Sodoku finally
Watched some movies from my embarrased to haven't seen list
Designed curriculum for next year
Saw De La Soul (and met them)
Became a varsity coach
Completed a celtics collage project I've been working on for 2 years off and on
Got season tickets for next year
Went to the cape with my dad and saw spots he used to go to
met my new niece
logged way too many hours on CB
thats about all I can remember as of now

did anyone else do anything fun this summer? recommendations for next year?

I basically moved to Florida and am in the process of buying [very] cheap condos to rent...amazing the real estate difference between New England and down here...

Went to Hampton Beach in New Hampshire twice.
Went to Easton's Beach in Newport, RI.
Went fishing everyday during May, June and the first couple weeks of July (Haven't been ever since, it's been a little too hot for me).
Went golfing 12 times and lowered my horrible handicap from the high 30's to the 20's (Currently a 23).
Worked a whole lot.
Began working out again after being too lazy to do so for over a year.
Got my collection of DVDs from the 80's to the 120's.
Did a lot of photography.
Did a lot of shopping in hopes of changing my wardrobe from Hollister to Ralph Lauren... (I realized I was the only person in college still wearing Hollister).
This might be the first year of my life that I went to 0 summer weddings, however I did go to 2 funerals. 
Played a lot of basketball and improved quite a bit.
Almost finished reading "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau... Will finish before I go back to school.
Got a $50 ticket for going through an EZ Pass toll.
Survived 11 days without my girlfriend when she went to Texas to visit family.

Really can't wait to get back to school though...

my girlfriend turns 21 next week. staying in wont be an option much longer.....

got a job at a physical therapists office (i wanna be a PT in the future)
Got a membership to the YMCA and worked out about 3-4 times a weeks
Went camping in maine
Went to a Sox-Yanks Game
Went to House of Blues Boston to see Asher Roth and Kid Cudi in concert (so sick!)
Spent about 3 weeks in Marthas Vineyard
Spent the weekend in Albany at Giants Training Camp
Talked to Chris Mortenson after he did his live news update for ESPN
Said hi to Jon Gruden
Made my first college payments
Bought a laptop
And now imma bout to head of to Uconn in 5 days

Went to 4-5 weddings (not mine yet )
Watched a couple of friendly football games
Took a 9 days vacation in Prague and Madrid where i visited Bernabeu

the rest days : work :-(

- Hit the gym almost everyday.
- Made a couple of hip hop beats that were used by a local artist.
- Was an usher in a friends wedding.
- Vacationed in Florida with my wife and randomly (and briefly) met Mike Epps.
- Hit Saco River and camped out.
- Joined a Softball league (hitting .391)
- Played a lot of pickup ball
- Striper fishing in Gloucester a bunch of times
- Rented out my condo and moved to my parents downstairs apartment but we're saving almost a G a month and buying a house soon.
- Woburn Batting cages weekly
- Went to a gay couple's wedding (that was a first and interesting.)
