Can't lose to a .500 Heat team by almost 20 points.

It was a very weak effort, but second nights of back to backs with an undermanned roster is always going to be tricky.

Additionally, Miami have some pretty good scalps this year. They've beaten Milwaukee, Houston and LAC all pretty recently.

Although, if another team meeting means we go 15-5 over our next 20, sign me up!

Kinda concerned about Horford though. 2 points and -26 tonight? 1-8 FG.

Just to add to this they also had Toronto and Denver on the ropes losing late in both games.  They out work most every team they play and with the C's on the 2nd night of a back to back there is no need to overreact.

This season they don’t. This is the most entitled team he’s had since coming to Boston.

Yeah nobody is going to accuse the Celtics of being the hardest working team in the NBA.  That Heat team doesn't have any stars but they have 13 SOLID rotation guys that work hard every night.  They also have Dragic still out and Ellington can't even get on the floor cuz of the log jam.

they just arent very good.

way too much hype for a team that lost to a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ty cleveland team.

kyries not a top nba star that leads teams to finals.  heywards a shell of  himself.

A double digit 3pt percentage point difference will do it every time. The RNG of throwing a ball 22+ ft into a slightly larger hoop. Nothing to see here unless we're expecting all of our opponents to shoot almost 50% from 3 moving forward.

Brad had to open up tonight's rotation. Al and the bench sans RW3 were flat tonight (which is understandable after last night's game). Brad should've relied more on the starters (sans Al), RW3, and went to Yabusele and Wanamaker earlier. He usually doesn't have an issue going deep into the bench, but he did tonight.

This should've been a 30 shot Kyrie game or another player stepping up to take on the offensive load (these games are begging for Tatum, Brown, and Rozier to be aggressive). Brad is a great coach, but I think his micromanaging intimidates the young guys when their shots aren't falling.

This was bound to be a tough one. 2nd night of back to back, playing well, coming off a win against a team they were motivated to beat and the Heat are a borderline playoff team playing at home.  Indiana didn't show up last night.  Celtics didn't show up tonight.

That all said the Jaylen/Morris altercation was the most interesting part of the night.

Poor coaching /substitution pattern tonight

They were aggressive on perimeter D/lurking around the paint D. As well running as much as possible

This is  a game the Celts should have gone Inside as much as possible and zip the ball around

Of course it doesnt happen

Yes and our guys apart from Smart, Morris and Kyrie shot horribly. I think we should not play Al in b2b from now on. But I guess not having Baynes is what made the staff play him.

We could lose any of our wing or even our guards, if we lose either Baynes or Horford we are at risk every game we do not shoot very well.
