Now that Hayward & Brown are both healthy, confident and sure of their roles, we look very hard to stop. We have so many threats to score 15+ every night, in Kyrie, Morris, Tatum, Horford, Hayward, Brown, and then Rozier and Smart who can get hot in a hurry.

We're not 100% yet as a team, but we're getting closer
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Really need to bump into some good teams to check our temperature.

We are good again.

If we lose to Miami tomorrow we will probably be wrist slitting again

We do think they are figuring out what each of them is supposed to do though. Team looks a lot more cohesive. But it was only 5 games ago that we have up 46 in a quarter to San Antonio. Which is why I try not to get too excited when we thrash people or too despondent when we suck. But heading the right direction overall even though I’m sure there will be more twists and turns along the way.

So are these the Celtics we know on paper? Ya know, the Celtics that I expect them to blowout every team by 20+ points each night over the offseason?

I can't wait to take on the LeBron Lakers and Warriors. It will add to the test for sure. The Warriors are going to get stronger when Cousins return next week, so there's that.

I mean it’s easy to point at one awful quarter (we weren’t outscored any other quarter that game) in 10 days and overlook the vast majority of quality play (4-0, +18.0ppg homestand).

I’m sure you can find a poor 10-minute stretch by Toronto, Milwaukee, Denver, or even the almighty Warriors.

Of course we’ve seen them similarly dominate for a stretch earlier and then stumble for a few (with help from injuries) games, but they just look better now. We aren’t relying on Kyrie heroics or the Marcus tandem, we are just playing great team ball and I believe easily sustainable.

We are good again.

But there's several good teams in the East. Isn't ''the best team'' what we are trying to be?
I mean 4 games at home in a row. That's fine, but I'm still waiting for a big win on road. Raptors, Bucks, Rockets, Nuggets, they've all kicked our asses.

Warriors are 21-2 against sub-.500 teams, and a paltry 6-12 against teams .500+.

Worried about them?

I personally don't think hayward is right still.

also I still need to see them do this consistently and against a great team, they need a great win. they lose against Miami and this indy game means nothing.

He has done a lot better the last four games. and I think he is coming along.   You can see in the mental doubts on his game vanish as it is happening and he looks a lot more confident.

His stats in January

Min    FG    REB   AST   BLK   STL   PF   PTS
27.5   .580   5.3   4.8   0.3   0.5   2.5   19.3    also 10-20 from the three ball  for 50% in January.

Still not 100% but not bad, but sometimes our eyes deceive us.

Do you think he will get much better than that?   I hope he continues to build on it.

His start to the new year is very heart-warming and promising.
