Sullinger with 11 pts, 9 rebounds at the half in a shortened half at that. Those are Drummond-like numbers right there.

he is having a nice game. KO not so much today.

KO has had a poor preseason so far. He's too passive.

Zeller might have to start for K.O..if he keeps playing so passive.

Realy? I thought he had a solid preseason so far.

Just doesn't know how to take charge. Sully started playing better when he just started going for it. He wasn't passing, he put the team on his back. Kelly is too passive, gonna end up like Green, that makes me sad.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'd like to see a Sullinger-Zeller lineup some more. I'm not sure why Stevens hasn't gone with it much, I think their games are highly complementary.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
I'd really love to see what Sully could do next to a legit center.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Jeff Green for me cannot handle the pressure.

Evan Turner kind of the same issue.

I bet James Young won't be like this

... weren't you just extolling Turner as an amazing pickup, worth $8 million a year, and a piece for the long term just a few weeks ago?

he's been better on defense than last year, but he's absent on offense, as someone else said, Jeff Green-style of an absence.

Turner loves the pressure.

Not enough dribble penetration on this team.

No go-to guy who generates double teams and forces team defense out of position. Creating openings for others. Without a player like that, the team is very reliant on dribble penetration from perimeter players to get opponents team defense out of position.

No Rondo is a huge problem in this regard. Puts too much pressure on others. Will Bynum 2nd best dribble drive player on team. Not available yet and may be waived before he is ever really part of the team. Bradley, Wallace and J.Green provide little dribble penetration. So responsibility forced onto Evan Turner and Marcus Smart. Smart hasn't been aggressive enough for my liking. Which in turn has put far too much pressure on Turner (which has made it easy for Nets to hone in on him and make his life difficult).

Hard to be effective offensively in NBA when you can't get initial team defense off kilter. Leads to low percentage shot attempts (high proportion of long jump-shots & contested shots).

Dribble penetration will be key to Celtics offense this year. Can't wait for Rondo to get to get back.

Jeff Green doesn't dissappear. I felt K.O is fine on offense but not this game.

the game started a few mins after 3 and the first half was over at 4:03. Too fast for me. I don't like it.

I'd really love to see what Sully could do next to a legit center.
Sullinger would be amazing next to someone like Marc Gasol. That would be such a beautiful big man combination if Ainge could find some way to make it happen.

M.Gasol = a skilled center who can go high and low. High to free up paint for Sully to beat up smaller PFs and yet big enough and skilled enough as low post weapon to keep opposing centers off of Sully. Jump-shooting and passing to facilitate offense.

I thought KO has been pretty solid this preseason.  We really need an offense with more hard cuts and back picks with KO, Sully and Zeller holding the ball up top and let them make plays with passes and shoot the threes.  Kind of play backwards from old school basketball.  The bigs out top shooting and the smalls playing down low and in the paint.

Green is suppose to be our best player w/o RR, sometimes I forget he is out there. I didn't say he was a bad player.
