I'm not a firm believer of firing your head coach when his team is made up of a bunch mediocre 20 somethings.

So people don't like him because he moved to LA?  So if your friend moved to LA you would not like them anymore?   

Or they don't like him because he wanted Doc fired... I guarunsheed if you found an old cblog poll of "should we fire Doc" that it would be at least 75% in favor.

I'll second that. Before the Garnett trade I wanted Doc fired and Danny coaching.

BS: Apart from his awful, Hollywood navel-gazing tendencies, I tend to find Simmons interesting and intelligent--even when I disagree with him.

WEEI: With the notable exception of the Dale & Holley Show, WEEI is pretty much a non-stop lineup of ignorant blowhards yelling at each other. Listening Dennis & Callahan and The Big Show makes me ashamed to be a Boston sports fan.

This doesn't surprise me at all ... typical Simmons posturing. I honestly don't understand why so many people think Bill is like this Celtics guru ... the guy has been ripping the C's for a long time, bashing the management, touting his own praises above all else, and then trying to claim he's the "Celtics' Number One Fan" ... come on ... time to wake up to what this guy is really about: HIMSELF.
