Should we take a shot at this former first round pick?

No thanks.

Danny liked reclamation projects,  but Brad needs to find reliable and consistent role players to fill out the team.

I'm not sure he's any better than JD Davison and we already have him playing G League,  so that spot is full.

Ty Ty is only 21 so I would call him a reclamation project. He got caught because there wasn't enough room... He could be the third two way.

"During his rookie season, Washington played in 31 games, averaging 4.7 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and half a steal in 14 minutes per appearance. In his five G-League games: 29.8 points and 7.2 assists per outing. Although Washington shot only 43 percent in those games, Scoot Henderson averaged 16 points and 7 assists on 42 percent from the field in 19 contests for the Ignite last season."

I’d rather take a run at Kendrick Nunn, who I’m surprised is still available.

Not sure how he’d be helpful for the Celtics or how the Celtics would be helpful for him.  If he’s interested in a 2-way, sure, I guess, but we don’t need to use a 15-man spot on him.  He was traded how many times before being released?  Something feels funny about that for 1st rounder coming off his rookie season.

I figured it'd be that last 2way slot.

I'm taking a pass.  Could be worth a shot but not with the Celtics.  We already had JD Davison, Pritchard, White, Brogdon and Banton all trying to get minutes at the point.  Plus I'd rather see Davison over Washington since Davison last year in the G-league was a beast for us.  Also personally, I'd rather see the Celtics go after a veteran guard even over Davison and Banton on the roster.  I'd rather see us bring in a John Wall, Terrance Ross, Javonte Green, Hamidou Diallo or Justise Winslow who plays multiple positions.

He’s received an offer from Olympiakos in Greece and is likely going there.

Who would you rather have for that last 2-way slot?

What would be funny is getting Winslow and he plays with many of the 5 picks that Danny almost traded for him.  ;D

I just saw Justin on a podcast. He's a really funny down to earth kind of guy. Not sure why it never worked out for him because his attitude seems to be someone you want to be around.
ok fine

None of those guys could be signed to a two way.
