Another thing I remember is some Australian Rules (or rugby) player getting his head stapled with a staple gun on the side line in full view of TV cameras after cutting his head open...those guys are tough

My favourite thing about rugby players is them taping their ears to the side of their head so that their cauliflower ears aren't ruptured even further.
