If you could only watch one NBA team, all season long (other then Boston), who would it be?

It could be because they are your current local team, they hold some personal significance, have a favourite young player or simply play the most exciting brand of basketball.

Probably the Bucks, but realistically I wouldn't watch the NBA that much without the Celtics.

Haha, and I thought I was the only one. I’m such a homer that sport in general only interests me if my favourite team is involved.

Denver for me. Really interested to see how the team goes once Murray comes back. Jokic is worth the price of admission alone.

I think the NBA is such a bad product, that I wouldn't really watch it at all if I wasn't so invested in the C's.

Living in central Florida, I do watch a lot of Orlando Magic games as they are the local team. I don't and wouldn't watch them all year or even regularly, there is no way I could. They have been a bad team for a while and at times unwatchable. But when the good teams come in or a team with a star I want to watch, I turn them on.

More or less this. I voted "other"

I won’t really be following another team, but I’m definitely interested to see how Klay Thompson looks coming back. Splash Brothers are fun to watch and I’m curious to see how/where Golden State will stack up in the West with Steph, Klay, Wiggins, Draymond and Wiseman. Is that a top 3 team in the West? Maybe...

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

this.  NBA product has deteriorated over the past few decades to the point where I haven't watched a non-Celtic game in over 25 years -- probably close to 30.

I follow the league. For me, NBA basketball is the greatest athletes in the world playing the greatest game at the highest level.

Having said that, I’m paying special attention to Toronto this season. They’ve gone the farthest that any team ever has in the radical direction of positionless basketball, with the most innovative head coach in the game.
'I was proud of Marcus Smart. He did a great job of keeping us together. He might not get credit for this game, but the pace that he played at, and his playcalling, some of the plays that he called were great. We obviously have to rely on him, so I’m definitely looking forward to Marcus leading this team in that role.' - Jaylen Brown, January 2021

That's a good call, their fleet of athletic wings will be super interesting to see. Even Boucher, who is listed as a centre, is more of a wing.

I used to be a die hard NBA and NCAA basketball fan. I lost interest in college hoops when it was taken over by 3 point chuck’s and one-and-doner’s. I knew it was just a matter of time before the 3 point game took over the NBA.

I much prefer watching big men battle inside to guys driving only to pass out to a corner shooter who misses and a guard gets the rebound after it bounces 15 feet off the rim. I miss watching guys like McHale and Olajuwon scoring, pivoting, passing and rebounding.

Now I only watch the Celtics.

Some hope for improvement for those who hate the NBA product
