It's great to see how genuinely happy both Jaylen and Jayson are to have Horford back. I hope Al can help both of them further unlock the potential they both have to be great players.
Bummed to hear that's Jaylen's wrist will never be the same. But it was great to hear about his off the court endeavors and his passion for education. Side story - I lived in Boston for two short years. During my first year there I was on MLK Jr Boulevard in a mobile community health clinic as part of an internship. I took a break from the clinic and went for a short walk. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a group of young men hanging out in front of the projects. I overheard one of them boasting loudly about how he had robbed someone the other day.
The fact that Jaylen is giving some of these lower income kids an opportunity in life that they otherwise would not have is incredible, and hopefully his efforts keep them on a path where they don't end up like the group of men I observed. Jaylen's maturity at his age is really remarkable, as is his desire to give back to the community. Easily my favorite Celtic since Pierce.
