Hey, it is no big deal. It was the words in the song that put women down so much that bothered me. I didn't know they still made songs like that! But I wasn't trying to offend you, Mean, especially if you were just presenting a joke. Also I didn't see the warning about the content as I'm always rushing through here, so my bad.
TP to you and Matt. ;)

TP back at ya. Shouldn't have busted ya like that.

I was for the video staying up because I had it on mute when I viewed it so I don't even know what the song said, but I can imagine it being terrible if it was enough to get somebody to complain. I didn't mean to offend by saying the video should be allowed to stay up. BigMatt had just said he advised that it be watched with the sound off, which I thought was a good enough warning. As IP and Roy have said, a warning doesn't permit every video from going up. Obviously we can't put ****ography or anything up on here and say "Warning: There is nudity in this video, so don't watch it if it offends you". I was admittedly wrong in this case, so I apologize if I came across as trying to start a debate with you. TP back to you!  ;)

Seriously, try reading the post next time before you go crying to mommy.

I don't think there's a need for the condescending posts. If it is offensive to somebody and it is against the blog's rules then it isn't up for debate. There isn't a need to continue to bash another poster like you have with your last few posts. I think IP handled the situation very well. Although you and I weren't offended by it and thought it was okay with the disclaimer, that does not mean we were right. It was offensive to others, you need to understand other people a little better.

Thanks for the pep talk.

Sorry bud, I just don't see the reasoning behind putting down another poster in three or four straight posts, let alone one.

Next time I'll consolidate it into one post.

Enough.  All posters are under an obligation to be respectful to one another at all times.  It's not funny or cute to go after another poster, and if it becomes an ongoing problem, there will be consequences.

The apology above was appreciated; let's please leave it at that.

Been listening to some Broken Bells this weekend. like it a lot

Big fan.  Love the album.  The songs "The High Road", "Vaporize", "October", and "Trap Doors" are all on heavy rotation with my Ipod right now.

They're actually playing out here on May 31st.

really like The Ghost Inside....also been hitting some MGMT "Congratulations"

Good track.  I think the album starts slow but then really picks up around "Flash Delirium" and finishes up strong from there.  "Siberian Tracks" is probably my favorite tune on there...all 12+ minutes of it.

Seeing them out here in Chicago on June 18th.  Can't wait.
