Nice ... great little tune, nice chemistry and trade-offs, good groove. Great example of how good music is not so much a manipulation of sound, but a manipulation of space. It'd be cool to have some drums and bass kick in about halfway through, too ... just as another arrangement possibility. (TP)

Was just playing this for my work-mates a while ago, (it's a slow afternoon) ... this is a 24-year-old bass player from Australia named Tal Wilkenfeld ... she has an amazing solo at about the 1:20 mark, very melodic and beautiful, (one of the sweetest bass solos I've heard in a long time ... not cuz it's flashy, but because it fits the song so well).

She's playing here with Jeff Beck, (guitar), Vinnie Colaiuta, (drums - amazing), and Jason Rebello, (keys). You may recognize Jimmy Page in the audience, smiling and nodding his head ... also Joss Stone, Eric Clapton, and others). It's from an awesome concert video I have at home called "Jeff Beck: Live At Ronnie Scott's", (worth the purchase ;)).

saw Eli Paperboy Reed in Cambridge on Friday night.
Bought his first CD when I lived in the UK , and loved it.
Was delighted when I found out last week that he is a Brookline boy and doing a show here.

Show was really good , worth checking out next time he is in town
