I like that we have the best ISO guy on the planet.

Did we trade for Harden? ;)
Ok top 2. No. 1 on some nights.

I'd rather have the ISO player with the best shooting percentage in those situations too. So you were correct, Kyrie is the best.

Sorry, not close.  Harden scores significantly more points per possession on isolation plays, while scoring about 3.5 times more points per game in iso.

Kyrie isn’t particularly close to #1.

https://stats.nba.com/players/isolation/?CF=PPG*GE*1:GP*GE*50&Season=2017-18&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&sort=PPP&dir=1
Consider that Kyrie played the season on basically one leg until he was shut down for the season.
(Cleveland's doctors aren't the best ones at their job)

Stats are nice, but I look at it like this:
- amazing shooter mid range/3pts/FTs
- has the best handle, perhaps ever
- great driver and finisher left/right/over the top/2nd rim/floater
- every player that spoke about guarding him said that he is unguardable
- creative, he can invent a new play on the fly
- has a track record of being great in the clutch

As I said prior, his ISO heroics will come in handy plenty of times, even more so during the playoffs.
Gordon Hayward would have been playing on one leg last year.  Irving developed a sore knee.  Big difference.

Harden is the best iso player in the league but Irving seems to shine in the playoffs while Harden seems to choke quite a bit.

Yes, it's just one game. And yes, Kyrie wants Boston.

But...does Boston want him?

Terry Rozier played well tonight with a +22. Kyrie 2 of 14 shooting for tonight. This summer will be interesting, indeed.

Yes, Boston does want him. All the recent winning teams have All-Star level guard. Kyrie is our only one

How did Rozier play in game 6 ECF when we could've nipped it in the bud?
28 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals on 62.5/60/100 shooting.
Rozier showed up when everyone except for Jaylen (28 points by him as well) choked in game 6, let's not brand them as chokers when they gave us a shot to close out the series without even playing game 7.

We do unless Rozier outplays Irving for the entire season and proceeds to light it up in the playoffs. But yes he was mind boggling tonight in a bad way, I was cheering whenever he got subbed off for Rozier lol.

That's not the point. The point CelticsElite is making is that 1 game sample sizes can be indicative of anything, and as such are worthless

Yeah, and it's his first competitive game after an injury which kept him off the court for months.  He hasn't hit his stride yet. After the game, Stevens said the same thing many of us said in the thread: Kyrie won't have another game like that.
