That was a good three point contest.  Very entertaining, came down to the last ball.

And now the All-Star festivities are pretty much over. Time for the stretch run + playoffs.

I'm feeling really excited about what we can do. I'm just praying we can stay healthy. This is probably the first time where I truly think we can reach the Finals or even win it all. I didn't think this a few years ago during the All-Star Break (though that team surprised us and was just a game away from the Finals) and didn't feel this way last season either. I was hopeful, but not as confident. This time around, I'm feeling confident. We can beat anyone, just so long as we're healthy.

Celtics can win it all if they get a solid bench center/shooting guard from the buyout market.

They could also win it by just being healthy playing really, really good team basketball with the players they have. I just don't think the Celtics can win simply by adding a buy out body. If the Celtics are going to win it all this year, it has everything to do with the players currently on the team and nothing to do with players not currently on the team

Pretty much.  A buyout player would only add to our depth, which might help keep everyone a little fresher during the last 6 weeks of the season, but he is unlikely to be more than the 9th man in the rotation come playoff time, and Stevens has been known to go with 8 players some games in the playoffs if that’s who he thinks will win the game.

An exception is if Tristan Thompson surprisingly became available on the buyout market — he would add something our team currently lacks, and could potentially unseat Theis in the starting lineup.  But that’s it, and that is highly unlikely.

Yeah given that it is a Thompson driven stance that is preventing his buyout I don't see it happening. He's not giving up any money, so there is no reason for the Cavs to buy him out at full contract value.

He might be solid enough in matchups to move the needle, too many teams can play Kanter off the floor especially with his hip injury.

Instead we're counting on Kanter getting healthy, Grant, and hopefully Time-lord.

I question why Joakim Noah doesn’t seem to be on anyone’s shortlist.
After leaving NY he seemed to play well in Memphis. showed he has more in the tank, at least for a last playoff run.
Would fill a big need as a veteran 3rd-4th big.
