Great gritty effort from a C's team that was missing three starters and four regular rotation members. They played solid defense on a strong offensive team and attacked Toronto's poor rotations and lack of interior defense relentlessly. Ray Allen in particular was masterful as he was running the offense as well as being the number one option of any play that wasn't a post up for Sheed/Perk. Rasheed attacked the paint very succesfully, and BBD/Tony Allen provided great hustle and energy.

I'm glad to have been wrong in my game preview about the final result.

Ray - 3
Tony - 1
Sheed - 1
BBD - 1

  • Yup
ray 2
TA 1
Sheed 1
Baby 1
House 1

House on the floor with the starters less Giddens was actually a decent lineup.  Sieve defense by the Raptors.  Hard earned win by the C's.

TP to Faf for the poll
Yup

No question, had to spread this around ... if we've had a complete (active) team effort this year, it was tonight: One each for Ray, Tony, Eddie, Sheed, Perk, and Big Baby ... great win! These guys came together while extremely short-handed and did what they needed to do ... very admirable.

True.

Glen, Eddie, Kendrick, Rasheed, Ray, Tony.

Ray should have gotten two, but I had to include the others too.

Sheed has a great game and made some nice defensive plays, and Perk played well offensively and even knocked down all his free throws.
