Red Sox owner doesn’t invite Curt Schilling to World Series 2004 reunion/first pitch (likely because he’s an outspoken conservative even though he lives locally.)

Politics aside, we don’t win that title without Schilling. He deserves to be honored.

Petty move,. Political beliefs shouldn't come into play when recognizing sports accomplishments.

I don't have an opinion on this...don't know the owner's personal relationship with Curt.

I will say that I don't consider Curt Schilling a conservative.  Conservatives don't tend to get themselves fired that often...not when they remain conservative, that is.

Pretty stupid move by the Red Sox.

Who cares what he's done/said off the field, there is no '04 title without Schilling.  Period.

Schilling has some pretty fringe political views which he has a right to freely express.  Sox management is kind of dammed if they do dammed if they don't.  I think they should have just invited him if this was only about Shilling's politics.  Makes me wonder if there is not some other issue between him and the team.
