Wow our bench is so deep that our bench looks like a typical starting 5. Nice showing by Kris Joseph today. Always loved the guy.

Really loving Terry and Green tonight - both being super aggressive, which is exactly what I was hoping we would get from those guys.

Green especially has impressed me - he's really attacking on offense and hustling on defense.  In fact he's the only guy doing a decent job on Copeland defensively.

Also liking Joseph and Downs, both looking nice out there.

Melo is definately raw, but he'll get there.

If Terry, Lee and Green continue to play like this then (once Bradley comes back) we are going to have a frightening bench...

3rd stringers playing. Started off sloppy then cleaned it up.

Rondo is a much better scorer now. Kris Joseph has great potential. JG+Terry are amazing.

Nice tidbit from the ESPN comments section of the rapid reaction to today's game:
Quote
KG wasnt going to play today. But he suited up and went on the court during warmups. He was rebounding the ball for Joseph and then Downs. Thats a hall of famer, one of the greatest power forwards ever, doing the grunt work for rookies so they can get better. That was the Tommy Point for todays game!

Just a comment on the Knicks.   They really seem to be thin on talent after Anthony, Stoudemire, and Chandler.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I tend to agree, but we really haven't seen a lot of their full roster yet, and if they come together they may be pretty formidable. Fulton should be an adequate pg. Shumpurt (sp?) will be coming back at some point and is a decent two-guard in the Tony Allen mold. Kidd, Smith,  Camby, Thomas,  Novak, and (if they keep him) #16 off the bench isn't too bad.

That said, I'll take the Celtics' bench every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

honestly, I dont think the Knicks look any different than the old knicks in the game melo played

they may have more depth on the bench with kidd, camby, rasheed...but theres no real telling how they are going to perform at their ages

Carmelo is Carmelo...great player & fun to watch him do his thing, long as he isn't on a Celtics team. Celtics is all about the TEAM concept first.
