Obviously we have to attach a pick to Hayward or trade him for a much lesser talent.

Won't respond to the poll. There's nothing obvious about any of this to me.

Simple rule of team-building: Don't reflex-trade good players.

You can't have 2 players with an identity crisis coming off the bench together.

Ainge made a mistake in team building already. Your looking at it. He needs to make changes I can believe in.

Why? His job isn't dependent on your personal opinion.

I don’t see a need to choose between Brown and Hayward at all.

Agreed.  What's more, I don't see the value of the poll without knowing who is coming back.  KGLL, suggest two trades: One with Hayward outgoing and one with Brown outgoing.  Since you will be suggesting the trades, they are sure to be ones you "can believe in".

Then you can take a poll.

What are we trading them each for?

I’m not dumping Hayward “at a loss” just to save salary. I’m not trading Brown unless it’s for a star player who moves the needle.

Only thing I’d do is swap Hayward and Tatum.

Let Rozier, Brown, and Tatum pretend it’s May 2018 all over again and run wild. Baynes can bring the veteran leadership to that group (and one of the starters like Horford or Morris)

Start Kyrie/Smart/Hayward/Morris/Horford.

Yeah, especially when it’s only January. Not sure what the premise really is
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I don’t see a need to choose between Brown and Hayward at all.

Me neither. Even if there would have to be made a tough decision, it's probably more likely that Hayward and Tatum come in each other's way. Since for both it seems that SF is their single best position.

But I'd like to hear some arguments by the OP why he believes that there has to be made a choice between Hayward and Brown. Other then the observation that the starting line-up at the beginning of the season that included both Brown and Hayward didn't work out and that the players need time to adjust to find their roles within the team, what arguments are there why specifically Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown couldn't both stay on the team and be succesfull?

What is the reasoning behind starting this topic?

Since when does this ownership group make demands of Ainge in the making of personnel decisions? They wouldn't. So why take the poll? Especially when you can't judge which trade to make since no trades are proposed?
