Hi nice people (mostly)!! Can anyone tell me where to find how well we do or don't do when Al and Baynes combine for 20+pts. I have a theory that I want to check the numbers on. I believe that the games where those 2 provide offense and a credible threat it seems to be games we win but when they aren't productive on offense we either barely win, lose or get blown out. I may not be on to anything but I sure have been saying and feeling that way for months. It's as if when our bigs aren't offenders the team doesn't play well.

Baynes and Horford combined score vs.
Raps 8
Was 14
Pacers 16
Cavs 11

I haven't looked back further than that but I can remember a lot of games that I thought this, it seems like if they shoot well we are either winning or a hair from pulling it out. I think it's because our offense is so big centric that when they aren't clicking it hurts. After the streak it seems like we gotta darn near pray for Baynes to be productive on offense, he seems like he misses all the bunnies. I think we are even more handicapped when Horford doesn't score, hovering around 10pts in those games, it's no wonder we look bad.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'm not too worried until I see how we play with Marcus. If we start losing with him, then I will get worried.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Can't win games shooting 25% from 3 when you shoot over 30 a game and then miss layups. Defense has really laxed the last 2 weeks too. Time to hit those wide open threes, convert better on layups and play stiffling defense once again. Go Celtics!

I miss Bradley but understandable with bringing in Hayward.  At least he's back with doc.  Should be a fun game heading into all star break

Man looking at clippers starting lineup really hammers in how they've moved down.  I look at this team now as Jordan and sub Lou Williams.  Rest of team (sorry Avery) are solid subs at best.  Now normally I'd say easy win but last game was god awful to watch.  Youngsters need the break even though they'll be playing in whatever they call the 2 year game.  Smart back should kick everybody in the butt (ala kg)

I think this is a little short-sighted. Harris especially is a good player. And if you look it that way, you could also say the Celtics are just Irving, Horford and a bunch of inexperienced role players.

Hopefully Avery realizes he misses Boston and signs a very team friendly deal in the off-season.

Hate ESPN games. The announcers suck.

AB is probably unlikely, but I am looking forward to seeing who we sign with the MLE. We are going to be a championship level team in a year where few teams will have major cap space; we should be able to sign a VERY good player!

However, if we did 'sell high' on Rozier or he was included in a package for a superstar player (looking at you AD!), then AB would be amazing with Smart off the bench for this roster!

Anyway, go Cs! Like, really, please win this one. We all need a jolt to give us hope through the AS break.
