Jaylen’s passing has been nice the past couple games.

Third game missed for a quad contusion? I find that a bit sketchy.

I wouldn't be too surprised if they let him sit out the next few games as well.

With the injury bug going around in the NBA lately, it's best to be cautious.

You have to wonder if Brad’s exaggerating it to take a chance and build confidence for the bench guys.

This team always seems to play poorly in afternoon games. You would figure with the time difference Pirtland would be asleep. Instead it looks like Boston is

Kyrie Irving hasn't exactly been an durable in his NBA career.

I think that bothered him a bit and now they are resting him into break, like any smart team would do with their stars.  I think that's just what smart teams do now and find their guys rest.  I think with his knee and shoulder he had a couple issues so just rest up.

To only be down by 6 right now is actually impressive.

Getting your guys rest is not unheard of, just few teams besides the Spurs were smart enough to do it until recently.  It's just the smart way to do things.

It is something that has definitely progressing throughout the year. I could see him turning into a 4-5 apg player in 2 years. His court sight and awareness just keeps getting better and better. That left handed bounce pass to Tayum in transition was a thing of beauty

These shots by Nurkic are not all so easy at all.  Pretty nice post moves and he has a nice push/half hook type shot out to a longer range.

The thing about it is he doesn't even need to actually be a very good passer to get those numbers because of the type of player Jaylen is slashing to the rim atheltically.  It's in part about being able to draw attention and read the defense and just make the easy pass.  Guys like say Westbrook are not actually that good of passers, they just draw so much attention.  He just needs to relax more than anything.  I think we are seeing it.  But as you said, and I mentioned, the last few games there have been very nice ones like that one to Tatum.

Good pass by Al Theis didn't see coming I guess.  Nice defense by Semi.  The Blazers are going to hit threes, they just need to keep trying to play their game.

So 4/19 to start the game. Not ideal.

Yup.  He still doesn't read the floor all that well a lot of the time, forcing the issue and driving recklessly into traffic, and you can tell that the game is still going a little fast for him at times.  But I love his aggression.

Against Atlanta he also hit a pullup 3 out of a pick and roll, and he's shown to be a good spot up 3point shooter especially from the corners.  With his explosive first step, if he can continue to make those shots and pick his spots better, he's going to be tough to guard.
