depending on matchups, this celtics team can win the first round of the play offs and have a punchers chance in the second round.

this year is fun.
Do I dare say it...'bring on Cleveland'?  I really like the CBS vs Lue coaching matchup.

This is a good example of what Marcus Smart will become night in and night out. He's a guy you want in the game in the 4th. quarter in a tight game...it's something you appreciate or don't. Scoring has little to do with it.

Nice win.

And fourth or fifth best odds in the lottery!!!!

that is really amazing isnt it? this is one of the more enjoyable celtics seasons i have seen. hard, smart play by really young players. good team effort. ZERO pressure to win a championship this year.

and add in at least top 5-7 draft picks for three straights years.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Naw lol I'll gladly face them in the ECF, but no sooner. Other than Cleveland, though, we can beat every other team in the East in a series, and I'd say we were favored versus everyone not named Toronto or Cleveland right now.

Isaiah didn't even play that great, and we still found a way to win! That's going to be key in the playoffs.

Other than standings this is why it was such a great win

What an important game to win! Love it

Love seeing bradley guard wade. Especially now that he is old and pretty much only has the turn around shot since he was too lazy to ever work on the three ball

Good to know we can win when thomas is off. Although he was huge down the stretch.

Keep it up!

TP's all around!
I trust Danny Ainge

WOW! thats incredible! wasn't that far ago when we were stoked bc we were 5 games over .500 for the first time in the CBS era!
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Heck of a win. MIA shouldn't pose too much of an issue without Bosh.

Hat's off to Smart. Played well, made his mark on the game. What I loved most was a sequence JP pointed out -- badly blocked in transition, but came down for a re-do the following play and finished with finesse. Solid perseverance, bodes well for development.

Sully and ET were solid, too. A few more performances like this down the stretch/playoffs and they're going to make it tough for Ainge in the offseason.

Is your view of smart changing now?

10 games over .500 is mind-boggling, but I'm still hoping for 18 over (50 and 32).
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

god i love smart and crowder.

Smart and Crowder both give you this sense that what you think you knew about stats and skills and athleticism can be overcome and made meaningless by pure aggressive, confident, tough persistence.

You are sorely mistaken if you think Crowder and Smart are not athletic.
