Someone please throw out some names of guys that they like in the middle-late second round!
Reese Beekman from UVA. He has shades of Derrick White in his game. A lot depends on his combine measurements. If he has the height/length to guard both guard positions he could turn into a good back up PG. We know Brad likes UVA guys looking at the current roster.

UVA was disappointing down the stretch and I'm not sure how that affects his draft status.

He does look very smooth. I'll be anxious to see his measurements too. He's a little like White but smaller. If  JD can iron out his shot this summer he might be redundant to our roster.

i agree. i think these two would be well worth a second round pick. someone else i like is kel'el ware. with development he might become a very effective big man.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think Beekman will survive as a pro as a defensive specialist that's going to make the right play by moving the ball on offense, like White. JD is a great athlete but his lack of size is going to limit him defensively.

I think Beekman can be an effective as a low usage player but I think JD needs to be higher usage, like Bones Highland.

Oooo, another Duck. He looks like a solid off the bench energy big. He's only 18 but has some skill and he looks to have good hands.

If Filipowski is there when we pick I would be very happy. This kid is a modern NBA center. In an offensively dominated league, he'd be a solid pick. I think he creeps into the late first round.

Trayce Jackson-Davis, Keyontae Johnson, Kobe Brown, Azuolas Tubelis, Oscar Tshiebwe and Terrence Shannon Jr. are some of the older prospects I am a fan of.

James Nnaji is who I'd go for if we go down the path of a young stash prospect.

Yes. I need to tell myself a thing or 2!

Double Grants flanking the 2 J’s. Just need a point guard.

Or get JD out there. JD, JB, JT, GW and GN.

Add Azuolas Tubelis to my list.

Tristan Vukcevic:

He can shoot the 3 but looks like he needs to be wide open.

I still really like Grant Nelson either as a big bench wing or a skilled big. I might be looking at fit a bit more than I usually do. He seems like a good fit as an energy guy off the bench that can play a couple of positions. Either way, there are some good value picks to be had in the second round.
