Latest report bill is going after Lamar. Won't happen just false hope. If you wanted him Bill you should have drafted him over Isaiah Wynn 23rd And Sony Michel 31st.

Lamar is a better Running back than Sony ever was. And to pile on Bill. Nkeal harry over Deebo who went right after him,  AJ brown,  DK Metcalf, And two more pro bowl relievers the chiefs and Steelers drafted.

We could have had Deebo and AJ Brown that same draft. Instead we took Nkeal and joejuan Williams. Bill is terrible at offensive talent.

Jimmy Garropolo
James White
Shaq Mason
Joe Thuney

Damien Harris
Rhamondre Stevenson

Really don't think Bill has any problem identifying great young offensive talent. Heck, he drafted 12.5% of all current starting QBs in the league!!!! What other NFL GM can claim that?

I remember this, multiple teams were only interested in drafting Lamar as a running back or tight end and apparently Lamar Jackson completely refused, he was only going to play in the NFL as a quarterback.

Yeah, I think the only legit criticism is that he sucks at drafting WRs.  Everywhere else the Pats seem to have done well.

Don't think he should get much credit for drafting Brady in the 6th.  If he had identified Brady as a great young offensive talent, waiting to draft him until the 6th round would have been abject stupidity.

He recognized NFL skills in Brady and was confident enough in him to keep him as the team’s backup.  That’s more than other teams did.

Didn't he see enough of Brady to keep him as a 4th string QB after summer workouts and preseason. Who in the world keeps 4 QBs? No one. Which says a lot of how highly Bill thought of Brady before the start of Tom's rookie year.

Also this is called appropriate drafting. If you think a guy is awesome but he is a candidate to go undrafted it is terrible to take him In the 4th for no reason. Also as others mentioned, he kept him. Very bizarre criticism

I’ll also add I don’t think lamar ever wins a super bowl. Ravens are a few bad mac jones interceptions away from being 1-3 and he has won 1 total playoff game.

Has there been a team that hasn't missed the playoffs 2 years in a row, in the last 20 years?
Brady is awesome and he kept AFC teams from getting to the super bowl. But he didn't keep every team in the league out of the playoffs.

It is awesome to see the haters twist and turn to find some narrative that makes sense. My favorites so far have been Belichick doesn’t get credit for Brady and Belichick killed Mac Jones’ confidence. I’m wondering if Kyrie is posting these great ideas.

Never really liked this type of draft grading.  "We didn't draft [good player] when he was available, that makes [GM] a bad drafter!"  It's almost always just people using current information to criticize past decisions.  Like, no s--- the Celtics would have drafted Giannis had we known he would turn into the best player in the world.  Us and every other team.  There would have been a dogpile of teams trying to trade into the #1 pick of that draft had that been common knowledge.  Unfortunately nobody has a crystal ball.

In Lamar's case, he was considered at the time of the draft to be an elite athlete with some questions about his ability to read defenses, and there's always concern about injuries with running QBs.  Fast forward to now... yeah they pretty much got that one right.  Good player.  Fun to watch.  But am I losing sleep over missing him?  Nah.

I'm not saying Bill is above criticism, for the record.  The Harry pick was questionable even at the time it was made.  Many NFL guys believed that there were several better receivers available in that draft than Harry at the time we selected him.  So feel free to go after that pick as much as you want... right there with you.  But passing on Lamar?  Meh.
