On Smart - (Laugher) He punched a picture frame in his bathroom. Ainge can't say what Smart was frustrated with. Smart realizes it was stupid. No ligament or tendon damage, just a case of letting the skin heal and removing the stitches.

On Morris' fall - He doesn't know if it was a dirty play. Some of the guys in the locker room thought it was. He wasn't as bad when he left the arena as he was going into the locker room.

On Monroe - Can't talk about that. Thinks we will use that exception, but not on sure on whom.

Hayward - This is a big month. He's been wanting to do more, but the doctors have been holding him back. He's about to start running on the Alter G. This next month will tell a lot.

For those curious about the AlterG, it's a weight-bearing treadmill, which allows a person to run without putting the same amount of stress on the body.

We just need to make it to the All Star break in one piece. We should definitely win our next two games regardless of who plays.

Monroe is intriguing but he’ll have to pick it up on the defensive end if he were ever to play important minutes.

Sadly, the most intriguing tidbit was re: Hayward!

Same old non-story story from Ainge.

TP for the rundown, though.

I didn't hear the interview, but the summary by the OP sounds interesting regarding Hayward. Danny makes it seem like there is a chance Hayward plays this season based on his rehab in the next month. Brad Stevens seems to have a different opinion.

I had to google "Alter G".  Thing looks like its out of a Sci-Fi film.

It's pretty cool.  I had to use one after tearing my plantar fascia.

What were you expecting him to say? Just curious.

I didn't know what it was either. It's an anti gravity treadmill.
