As much as I hate to say it, Bucks in 6. They have the best player on the court, deeper team and have been playing some of the best basketball all year long. Hope I'm wrong.

How often does the MVP win the title? Having the best player doesn't guarantee anything.

And the Bucks are deeper? After Giannis, I'd take 3-4 Celtics before a Buck.

As in all of sports, you don't get extra credit for how well you played the opening month of the season. It's all about which team is firing on all cylinders when the playoffs get rolling. Look at what happened in hockey, where the Lightning absolutely dominated the regular season only to get SWEPT (dominated) by the 8th-seeded Blue Jackets.

We match up well with them. It will be a good series.

If the Bucks sweep on MON does anyone know when BOS-MIL would start?  Perhaps WED since MIL would have been scheduled to play that night?

I chose BOS in 6.  Similar to TOR in recent years, I don't see MIL as "playoff tested" yet.  Also Brogdon and Mirotic out is a much bigger loss than Smart.  I woulds still feel comfortable with BOS dropping 1 and 2 in MIL, and evening it up at home with 3 and 4.  But ultimately we do of course need to steal one.

What is the status of Brogdon and Mirotic ?

The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:

Just don't let Middleton do his thing.

Yeah. Everyone in the national media and on here talks about MVP Giannis.

But my biggest fear is Middleton going Ray Allen on us (as he usually does) and dropping 30+ a game throughout the series   :P

If that happens in addition to Giannis going beast mode as we expect, then yeah our chances become super slim (even slimmer than they are now).

Yep, Middleton is the guy who usually makes the difference when they beat us. Dagger 3's.

Jaylen Brown will neutralize him just like he did last playoffs.

Mirotic has played in the first round. There is some talk Brogdon might return in the second round, but even if he does, I doubt he will be 100%

Heard Brogdon is supposed to come back for this series. Regardless, the Celtics are going to have their hands full without Marcus Smart's defensive intensity here.

Just keep in mind we're playing better and better. I'm predicting Hayward will be even more the ''old Hayward'' vs Bucks. Let's see where it gets us. I think KD&Co. are expecting us.

WTH...Celtics in 6

Bucks have faced little to none adversity this season and have skated through.

When’s this series start?

I'm guessing Saturday, maybe Sunday at the latest.  If I remember correctly, the NBA will usually start a new series as long as the prior round series have reached a game 7.  All of the current series would be reaching their potential game 7's this weekend.
