So, how many "Trade <fill in the blank>" and "sky is falling" type of threads do you guys expect before the game is over?

I'll go with 4.

Well 4 on different subjects. But then you have to account for people starting multiple threads about the same thing. I'll say 10.

As for me, I'm totally prepared for a loss. We have no wing depth against one of the best wing teams in the league. A loss tonight will be completely irrelevant. I just want to see progress from those who are playing.

Well, as it turns out, I'm still awake and the game is about to start (2am local time). So I'll be there, hoping for a win despite the not-promising-at-all situation (no Pierce + bad referees)!

Where do you live Drucci?

I'm hoping for the best but totally expecting a loss.

In France (Paris to be exact)!

As long as we bounce back from a loss with the pretty easy Hornets, Pistons, Wizards, Wizards stretch, we'll be fine.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
Hey, we all go in pretty much with not so optimistic hopes about this game so really we should have a nothing to lose attitude and just hope for the best. Sure, a loss wouldn't be surprising and a blow-out even seems like a possibility, so anything approaching a competitive game would be a bonus. I'm expecting the worst, but I'm hoping for the best. I think in my heart we could pull it off if all goes well. If we don't, I just want to feel like we competed.

Unlike previous years where we get off to roaring starts and fade, maybe this is the year we start off struggling and we come together more and more as the season progresses. I think we're going to surprise this year. I'm betting we get it together.

Regardless, I'm a Celtics fan. No doom and gloom here. Gonna sit down in front of the tv and cheer my team on and just want to be proud one way or another when its over. I think we'll put up a good fight. See you guys on the flip side!

Go Celtics!!!!

Oh, we've bought a new TV for Christmas. I'll take a picture of my setup and of how I'm watching the game during the first Celtics game break, and post it here. And I'll include a picture of my new Celtics Jersey as well :D

Can't wait for this to start, first game I'll catch live since... I dunno, but it's been frikkin' AGES!

Bet you're wrong.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
