I see the Pacers have already clinched a playoff spot.

Does anyone know if there's a scenario on how the Celts can clinch a playoff spot?

Don't they just need a win or an ORL loss at this point?

I think you're right. I know last week before they played Philly, I remember reading that was the scenario in which they could clinch a playoff spot. I can't believe it hasn't happened yet. I guess Orlando is also playing some good basketball right now. So maybe the Celts can clinch tonight with a win...FINALLY.

Trap game for the Cavs?

Seems like every game is a trap game for us.

I don't think at this point you can call them trap games anymore. Not when you know they could easily  lose any game.

UPDATED THREAD:  Horford and Tatum both participated in shoot around and are now probable to play tonight.

Brad Stevens has been talking about changing up the starters a lot lately.   I'm guessing that he puts Baynes in with Horford to start and sends Morris back to the bench.  That would definitely shore up the lagging defense.  Now if only they could snap out of their offensive slump.  The only other move he might make is to start the hot Jaylen Brown and send the slumping Jayson Tatum to the bench.  But i'm guessing that the move he makes is to start Baynes in place of Morris.

What about Hayward in and Morris out?

They need a win AND an ORL/DET loss I believe

I like the Mook to bench and start with 2 bigs strategy. I don't know if he will mess around with Brown after Brown said he's comfortable in the 2nd unit knowing when to get his shots.

All I  say is if we lose this one then the season is over. We have to kill this team tonight to make amends. Anything short of a beating is a failure. Just saying.

Now GO Celts!

Yep he will probably get into a shooting contest and lose the game for us  :-\

He's so easily baited, is our Terry.

He could also score 30.... Scary Terry will be in full effect, one way or another.....

I am just hoping for a fun game to watch.  It hasn't been a fun experience watching C's games lately.
A blowout of the Cavs would be fun.

GO C's!!!

We're in a lose-lose situation  :P

If we win, then it'll be because we're just 100x times better without Kyrie and the debate would heat up again. If we lose, then this forum will continue to be a disaster and full of hot takes
