Different type of all star game ideas

I know All Star games are usually about taking it easy and having fun. But sometimes i wish we could see a different kind of game (increase competition and intensity). Suggestions are:

USA vs World Team:For example
PG: Curry, SG: Dwade, SF: James, PF: Durant, C: Howard
vs
PG: Parker, SG: Bryant, SF: Nowitzki, PF: Pau Gasol, C: Marc Gasol

All Star Team vs All Young Stars (2nd and 1st year): Lillard vs Paul, Davis vs Hibbert. Not only do the younger stars get more exposure, but also get to  embarrass their elders. I could this game getting serious

2 Captains choosing team format: Like what hockey is doing.  You vote on who should be the captain. Then captain chooses their players one by one.  So you can have a team consisting of Durant, George, Gasol, Bosh, Westbrook playing for one team.

All Star Team vs Last Years Champ: I think this would be a very nice game to watch. The winner gets home advantage for the finals. I certainly would root for the All Star team to beat the Miami team.
