@KBergCBS: The NBA will not approve any subsequent exchange of players between the Clippers and Celtics this summer, and the teams understand that.

I understand the rule.  But it seems to have too far in this situation.

Not gonna like I can honestly see him going to the Rockets or Bulls... and we'd recieve better compensation from them anyway

So chances that he plays here? The only thing i could see is going to Chicago. He played for TT and has ties there.

And Doc told the Clippers he wasn't interested in being their coach anymore right?

Doc is the coach. Give it some time. If he wants to coach KG, and he does, then something will get figured out.

That's absurd.  Does that mean we can exchange players after the summer?

What about KG as player coach?  Only half joking.  What a way to start a rebuild, though, right?  Bring back AlJeff and Justin Reed and get this thing started.

I believe so. I think this is what will happen. We will trade KG to the clippers sometime during the season. Pierce to the Clippers scenarios however are unlikely because his contract would be guaranteed by then.

Please, help me to understand something about our cap situation:

We had 72 mln next season with kg and pp
Now, assuming kg is going to retire... We have something around 61
What if we trade pp to cavs for two 2nd round picks? We arrive at 46, isn't it?

So.. We can load a good free agent + 15 mln pp trade exception + mle... Am i dreaming?
