Last night me and my friend watched "The Great Muppet Caper" and it got me thinking. I love this movie but i'd have to rate it third below Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island.

what are your top three?

The great muppet caper was the best followed by the original.

Ditto that.

The British setting (and obvious Monty Python cameo) plus Charles Grodin lusting for Miss Piggy makes it classic.

I force my little brothers and sisters to watch this around Christmas. I love it.

A typical stuck babysitting around xmas conversation is:

Sibling: lets watch "something something Christmas fun time"

Me: ya, no. how about the Muppet Christmas carol?

S: we always watch that!

Me: dually noted, go get the movie.

And Crownsy, for your holiday entertainment, don't forget "Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas".

So I consider all the Muppet movies to be pretty great...my two favorites easily being The Great Muppet Caper and A Muppet Family Christmas ("I'm not the turkey, the turkey's the turkey...you turkey.")  I actually have that one on a recorded VHS from like 1989 and it has commercials for Alf, My First Sony, and other stuff like that.  Also has an ad preview of a C's game where Philly is coming to town and Charles Barkley is in the footage.  Good stuff.

Is that the one that had Sesame Street and Fragle Rock part of it as well?

Yeah it is. I'm 25 and have watched it at least once a year for 20 or so years.  It's pretty much the only reason I still have a VCR.
