Is this guy for real? Who is advising him on this one? I wonder if he tried for LBJ or King James?

I am actually quite astonished to find out Taco Bell hadn't trademarked it and used it as a promotional drive #TacoTuesday #softorcrispy #2 for$1.

I am suddenly hungry....

The story I read suggests that some Taco joint in Ohio got the trademark in 1989, apparently they did not do much with it on the national level.

Its actually Taco Johns and they are headquartered in Wyoming.

Okay, that makes complete sense. TP for dropping knowledge.

For a guy who seems so caught up in his public image, you think his public relations team would've known better the expected public backlash to something like this.

Better than the Tom Terrific filing, though. That one was a rare misstep.

Can you actually do that if your taking some one else's idea and claiming as your own? Things that have been in the public for years. I mean I can't remember the first time I heard it. But the Lego movie made it popular again. I think Deadpool said it in the comics.

But just in case I'm trade marking

Can something explain this to me? I am a year or two older than Lebron and would hear about taco tuesday when I was 12 in my hometown. How could he trademark this?

he can't. He simply applied to trademark it. The application will likely be denied

But it shows lack of business acumen. This is business 101 stuff. Also it shows he is attempting to monetize things  he did not invent/create
