someone commented on this on the boston globe website and i thought it was very interesting... lebron james is a very physical player, on both sides of the court, and we all know the nba likes to protect marquee players... but this is a little ridiculous...

the last time lebron james had more than 2 fouls in a game was JANUARY 25th against Miami where he had 3.  He also took 17 free throws that game.  

Lebron averages 1.6 fouls per game this season while taking over 10 free throws a game.

He is NBA's "goose that lays the golden eggs"....thats why there is a set of different rules for him. Kobe is still one of the best players in th league but he gets called for more fouls than LeBronze Shames....even though the brat plays "with no regard for human life". How can you not get called for a single foul with that kind of physical style of play?
