Is it me or are we having an unusually high number of high scoring games this early in the season?

It's not only you. The pace and shot selection of the NBA the last few years have been incredible so expect big scoring games to become more and more common. We might be flirting with points per 100 possessions than per 75 in a few years lol.

Last nights Liberty Ballers game thread is so much fun to read.

Mind you, I’ll whine about the refs the next time the C’s loose so...

76ers on a losing streak. You just hate to see it.

BOS owes them a couple of losses this season, too - and I expect to get 4 wins from them in the playoffs as well.

I am sure the 76ers will turn things around and have another really nice stretch throughout the season, but maybe this 3 game losing stretch and 6-25 stretch from Horford will minimize the chest pumping next time they do. Here is hoping. Loved looking at the standings this morning.

Horford was never going to be a 30+ppg scorer. Right now his averages sit at: 16/7/4 and I think Sixers fans would be pretty happy with that as he never scored more than 14ppg for us. Obviously these are very basic stats and don't take into account win shares or efficiency, but as has been discussed [a lot] it was never really about this season (or even next) for Horford, but the years following.

It sure is nice to see the Sixers drop a few, though. They had some squeak it out wins in 3 of their first 5 so it's nice to see it even out. Hopefully the Cs can keep their foot on the accelerator and leave them in the dust!

This is awesome.

Hilarious, though - that they would criticize ANYONE on that team for their shooting % when there is a FAR BIGGER elephant in the room.

Dude was a torrid 1-1 from deep against the Mighty Guangzhou Long-Lions from Guam, during the preseason. He hasn't sniffed a 3-pointer since.

Yea we can’t lose tonight. Got to stay hot. I think they have to play Horford about 4 minutes less a game. He was wiped by the end of last bight(it was a really fun game to be at)

If C's win tonight, they should be favored in their next 5 games, if they stay healthy, that is. There is a decent chance that the Celtics could go into the Clippers game on November 20th at 12-1.
