You either send Luke to Portland or you cut Wafer. I would send Haragody to Portland where he can get some playing time.

Players sent to the D-League count against our roster limit.  Therefore, sending Harangody down wouldn't alleviate our roster crunch.

Cut Wafer. Would you really want Wafer getting minutes over Avery right now. Sign Antione.

The Heat are looking for help.

He’s better than Bosh.

It's debatable if he still has some handle and can pass the ball.  I always thought if AW ever realized his limitations (ball handling forward that couldn't shoot 3's) he would be an even better pro.  You can say that about a lot of players though.

Gosh, I don't miss him.  He was our best player for years but that just illustrates how bad we were.

some how... I don't understand this decision.  If AW needs money, shouldn't he take his talent to China or somewhere in Europe in order to earn some quick cash?

The last time I heard, Steve Francis just sign a contract in China for close to 1 million dollar.

Last time I checked Toine's Puerto Rican team was very disappointed with his play.

I don't see how he could do much in the NBA and I'm not sure he'll do much in the D league either

But considering that in his interview, he stated that he lost 35 pounds probably suggested that he was still not in shape when he played for the Puerto Rican squad.

The fact of the matter is that he's going to be gracing my TV set once again, and I will enjoy watching him shimmy all over the court for as long as he plays.  :)

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
I'm hoping he can get a reality show out of this called "Westbound and Down"

I hope the best for him. He seems to be in good shape. At 34 I'm sure he has some game left and a LOT to prove.

Kudos to Roy H. for digging up this classic from the Toine/Pierce days. He posted this on the Blog a month or two ago for another thread:

How about that! 'Toine OFF THE GLASS! ;D. In LA, too. Best part about it was Kobe's reaction at the end. He'd get ejected for doing that nowadays.

Those were the days...Waltuh! Rodney Rogers, Kenny Anderson....

But yeah I wish Antoine the best and hope he catches on with someone.

It's OFFICIAL!  This Tuesday, the Shimmy will be BACK!  8)

Tuesday, Walker and his shimmy will come to Idaho.

Because when you think of Idaho you think of potatoes, blue turf and Antoine Walker.

Did anyone laugh at this like I did?  :D

Here's another fact about the Idaho Stampede.

Former Celtics Greg Minor is one of their assistant coaches.

What's next for Idaho?  Maybe a Thomas Hamilton signing?  Todd Day is probably trying to make a comeback too, maybe they can sign him as well.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
