Can we get the forum merging a bit under control. Literally 6 of the 8 threads on the current topics forum on the main page are about Lebron. Multiple threads are polls on him joining us. Is there anyway we can have this merged? It feels like we have been taken over by people trolling us and actual discussion about the Celtics are getting buried.

Frankly, I'm sick of this crap. :) I imagine this is a popular time for vaca among many and downtime among Cs fans in general. But I agree... we don't need 10 new threads re: LeBron, new taxes, pesticides in our food products, or 2nd round picks.

I get people are Interested. Heck I am interested where he goes myself. I don't understand though we can't just have one thread rather than 8 threads and multiple polls

Obviously there can be one, but we should have some self respect as celtics fans. We will enter as one of the top two teams to win the east next year, if not the top team. (I predict we will be favorite to win east by next seasons start)

They were actually on here prior to Stephen Smith's remarks. I am a Celtic fan, but we sure do seem to have a lot of guys who are more NBA fans. I think they have every right to post that stuff, tough. If you don't like a topic you don't have to look at it.
I do not want LeBron on the Celtics ever, period. I live in Ohio and I hear is LeBron this and LeBron that. I am going to enjoy him losing another finals. I think in many ways LeBron is he anti-celtic in that he is all about him and not the team. He is a great player but he would destroy what control CBS has on the team and blow up the chemistry and make it the LeBron James show.
I am amazed too, how many want him here. I guess winning trumps all. I despite the guy and hate the Cavs. I want to beat him not have him join us.

Seriously, if that happens I would lose almost all respect I have for this franchise, Danny Ainge, coaching stuff and ownership. You are taking a big dump on all previous championship generations and mostly a big big dump on the last group. Yuck!
Hope He stays in Cle or goes somewhere in the east so we can beat him next year, and againg next year and the year after that.

I don't get trading off Irving talk and hiring James .
This runs contrary to how i view Celtics " team " basketball past 30 years
Irving is just entering his prime . Lebron is on the backside of his career.
Lebron is the anti Celtic version of basketball
So people don't want CBS anymore , they would rather have a player coach , player GM. basketball god to worship ?
