We're going to need to play a lot better if we're going to win any games against non-creampuff opponents.  Indiana is terrible.

The Bucks are sitting at home licking their chops right now as they're watching this game.

While we certainly haven't been perfect and have some things to clean up, these are shortsighted comments and not respectful enough of Indy. They're clearly lacking offensively sans Dipo, but they're as good as it gets defensively, and in the playoffs that's enough to keep games close (see Boston Celtics the last several years prior to 2018).

Hell, we're very likely going to sweep Indy at this point, which is not at all easy. Hell, look at Cleveland's championship year. They swept Detroit in the first round that year, and that series was very similar to this one with three really close games and only one that wasn't that close. And that Detroit team was no better than this Indy team.

TP totally agree. What they’re lacking in talent Indy make up for in grit and heart. Unfortunately In tight games like these you need people you can give the ball to to make things happen at the end. We have those and they don’t.

They were 16-19 (now 16-22) without Dipo.  They're a turd team that should be swept easily.

TP. Very well said.

Is it just me, or is that crowd a bit more overweight then usual crowds 😁

Another great game outcome and Kyrie and Tatum and Brown and Horford amazing together. Kyrie’s killer gear awakens at end of every playoff game. He is truly a great alpha for us.
Given that the Celtics have been on the receiving end of that gear, it's nice to have it on our side.

Absolutely, so true! This could be a great marriage if he would only say I do at midnight, July 1st!

good to see this team come together to make the big plays down the stretch for the win.  didn't see that in a lot of the regular season games.

now if we can just get the to play like they did in the first quarter all the time, we're taking home the banner

Brad played possum in the regular season.

In the playoffs this year, we didn't see that equal opportunity stuff that Brad used in the regular season.

Rozier has to start making shots at some point. Right?

When Smart comes back we won't need any more Rozier.

maybe one day ...but not too long  ;D

Irving and Hayward just 9 for 26 and we still won.  JB has been great all series, even if he hadn't scored much in the first two games.

We righted the ship when Rozier was subbed out and Brown came back in.  Less minutes for Rozier, please Brad?

It’s not always just the points you score, it’s the influence you have on the game. It’s something you have to watch the games to see as the stat line won’t show it. JB had a big impact on the first 2 games  defensively and a huge impact on the result of game 2 with his pass. Tonight was his turn as it was Mook in game 1 and Kyrie in game 2

It's a big reason why many of us love Smart and Brown and dislike Rozier.  If Rozier is cold, he offers absolutely nothing and is often a net negative.  Brown and Smart on the other hand can contribute in other ways - especially Smart, whose intangibles are off the charts.

A bit of a let down in the 2nd quarter, but loved the D in the 2nd half when it became a bit more of a grind for both teams. 3-0, let's finish this off on Sunday and prep for the Bucks!  :D

Bring the brooms!

Would be nice to sweep. Hoping the Celtics don't blow a 3-0 lead.

If Victor O was still playing it might be a slight possibility.

It wasn't a great regular season, being matched up with this Indy team without Oladipo was a good thing. We have some confidence being built up in this series.

Deep down, I think Brad Stevens hates coaching this group and the style of play that he is left to deal with. I can imagine Danny Boy whispering in his ear, "Don't be too tough on Kyrie when he takes bad shots, we need to keep him happy so he will re-sign and you can watch him dribble away the shot clock for the next five years, ok Brad?"

I know you aren't a Kyrie Irving fan, but without him we're down 2-0 in this series, so...

I don't agree - i think without him, we play an entirely different style offensively and produce more points. i know everyone gets caught up in his amazing offensive talents, but with the ball in his hands all the time, how do you know what the other guys could do if more involved. I think we already know we have plenty of offensive weapons on this team, who currently stand and watch. Also, Hayward would be twice as effective if the ball were moving and he was able to be a playmaker - that's his game.

Smart is way scarier than Terry.

Yeesh, this place is ridiculous. We just won a road playoff game, and people are already being negative. Can't we just enjoy tonight?
