It might be time to reset the vote and start again. Expectations almost surely have risen

I'd say 54-28 is feasible. But that's as high as I go; we should expect at least one of our big three to need a couple of weeks off at some point.

About 55 wins with the recent FA signings and health for the starters.  They'll be right there with Detroit fighting for the 1 or 2 seed.  Get a solid vet PG and that goes from an optimistic guess to a solid number.

I am going with 68 wins next year. Because of KG and Ray Allen we will win double Paul's jersey number.

(And we'll probably get bounced in the first round thanks to The Curse of the Doc Rivers)

Put me down for 56-26 wins and a loss in the ECF.

We win it all next year!

I have them down for 51-31. I believe they will get off to a hot start this year, as I am pretty certain their schedule is fairly weak to start off. They will then plateau out a bit as they proceed to learn how to play each other, and then get hot again as the season comes to a close. I think that should be enough to get them the Atlantic division easily, as I am not high on the Nets or Raptors. I don't even consider the Knicks to be a threat to be honest.

Obviously, with a division title in hand, they will be a top-4 seed guaranteed, and probably a top two. I don't think they will have enough to get to the Finals this year, but the underrated thing about Danny's free agent pick-ups this year is the flexibility that has been debated on the blog recently. I am a proponent of his moves, minus the Pollard pick-up (nothing against him, but I would rather have been more aggressive in landing an Adonal Foyle, as one example), although I am not overly upset about it. Going into next year however, they will still have their #1, and again the MLE, and LLE (barring its unexpected use in the next couple months). They should be able to add another veteran or two of Posey's caliber, if not even better. KG, Pierce, and Allen will have a year of experience next to each other under their belts, not to mention Rondo and Perkins with another year of development.

With an added 1st round pick, all the cast and crew from this year, and a couple quality free agents, that Danny should have absolutely no problem whatsoever recruiting, they will have an extraordinarily deep team complementing their superstars.

I'm with CoachA and going with 53-29.  We come out of the East and from there, who knows?

Heres how i see it:

Outlook-The East is a mucho weak conference. Many  of the stars are growing older- most from the Pistons, and the three stars from the Celtics. Thats alright though, since Allen Pierce and Garnett still are putting up consitent numbers even when they are getting older. The Bulls are a pretty good team with some young talented players, but they really feed of Ben Wallace, who is again, getting old. Toronto is getting better due to their international players, and the that could pose as a problem, not a major one just a problem. Miami is getting worse because of Zo and Shaq getting verrry old. D-Wade wil basically have to carry them most of the season. The Cavs will probably not follow the success they had in the playoffs, although watch out for LeBron and Gibson to cause trouble for a number of teams. The rest of the teams are either medicore or below that.

How Celtics will fair-They will do great in East, especially at home games. Only two teams (Cavs, Pistons) will pose as a major threat to take the #1 spot in the East. When they get to the West it will be a challenge for them, for all the games. Virtually all the elite teams are in the west. It will be a challenge for them, they should do fairly well, but hit some road bumps when they hit Spurs, Suns, etc;.

Record:
56-26

How far will they go?
To ECF- winning it or losing it is hard to determine i would at least like to see a mounth of the C's before making my full decision.

I'm predicting that the Celtics win 57 regular season games next season.  Who else would care to make a prediction?

It all depends on on the big three's chemistry and a good return from TA but I'll have to say any where from 50 to 65 could be realistic

I'll go with 50. Mostly because it is a nice round number and also because I think they will come out of the gate strong, struggle between Christmas and March and then gel come the end of the year. Look for the chemistry and health by year's end to take them deep in the playoffs. Between Christmas and end of March they play in 2 west coast trips and a Texas/New Orleans trip. Mix that with a ot of Western Conference home games and you see what I mean. Coming home late in the year the schedule lessens and the role begins.
